About Me
Welcome to Joanne’s Second
Chapter. As a retired teacher and
librarian, I have found a wonderful
way to express myself and
hopefully bring enjoyment to those
who love to read. Like many of you,
I wrote little stories as a child,
looked forward to those spelling
assignments in school where you
had to use the week’s spelling
words in a creative story, and read,
read, read.
While employed in my teaching careers in North Carolina, Florida, and New York, I took creative writing courses, submitted fiction to children’s magazines, and occasionally was published. Now I am taking my writing to a whole new level and offering it through this website.
